Rt.Rev.Dr.Selvister Ponnumuthan, the Chairman of the Commission for Basic Ecclesial Communitiesof the Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CCBI) introduced the “Seven Step Method of Gospel Sharing” to the seminarians of the Propaedeutic Year at St. John Paul II Seminary in Pariyaram, Kannur, Kerala on 11th November .2024. On this meaningful occasion, he emphasized that this method is not just a practical tool but a transformative journey—one that deepens our relationship with Christ and empowers us to share His love and truth with others. Bishop Ponnumuthan encouraged the seminarians to reflect on these seven steps as both a guide and a prayerful approach to evangelization as they begin their formation in the foundational year of seminary life. He explained that the method is designed to help communicate the Gospel in a way that is rooted in Scripture and compassionate in outreach, fostering both spiritual growth and a deeper understanding of the message of salvation.
