On 19th October 2024, Saturday, the Bishop Matthias Kapil Institute of Culture and Heritage (MICaH) hosted a vibrant Njatu Pattu competition.
The event was officially inaugurated by Mr.Sajeev B. VAYALIL, Pathanapuram.
Rt.Rev.Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan, Bishop of Punalur delivered
a benedictory message for the programme.
Seven teams from various parishes within the diocese participated, each showcasing their remarkable talent and enthusiasm.
Marutimudu St. George’s Church secured first place, while Kizhakkupuram Little Flower Church achieved a commendable second position.
St. Mary’s Cathedral, Punalur, achieved third place.
Mrs. Janet, Headmistress ,Kurumbakara CMHS, distributed the prizes to the winners.
The competition was organised by Rev. Fr. Stephen Das, Director of the Bishop Matthias Institute of Culture and Heritage, whose efforts were instrumental in ensuring the event’s success.
On behalf of the institute, the director extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the participating teams for their dedication and spirited performances. Which contributed to a memorable celebration of culture and community.
