On 08 October 2024, at St. Xavier’s Animation Centre, Pathanapuram, a seminar on the sacrament of Marriage was conducted by the diocesan Judicial Vicar Rev. Dr. Christy Joseph. All the Priests of the diocese were present for the seminar. I was a special session focused on the significance of Catholic marriage, highlighting its role as a sacred covenant that shapes the lives of individuals and communities.
A highlight of the event was the official release of the Bible Diary for 2025, a thoughtful initiative prepared by the Catechetical Department of the Diocese of Punalur.
Rt. Rev. Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthan, Bishop of Punalur, presided over this momentous occasion and released the Bible diary titled “Likhitham 2025.” The Bishop presented the first copy of the diary to Rev. Fr. Eugine Fernandez. This act not only symbolizes the diocese’s commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth of its clergy but also serves as a beacon of guidance for the year ahead, promoting deeper engagement with scripture and spiritual practices.
